Infrared photos of my car

I thought it would be a cool idea to do some infrared photos of my car. Actually, I didn't think it would come out as clear and focused as it did. I focused the photograph before I placed the infrared filter on the camera. Yes, this is done digitally, not with actual infrared film. I'd persoanlly rather work with film, but I don't have the time to develop and print my work anymore since I graduated college.

Here's the photos!

The dull background doesn't help, but it is infrared. I used the B&W settings, and put the filter on. If it was end of Summer/Fall, the background would have been more dramatic. Since the leaves are dead, it doesn't have much difference except the focus and effects.

there are decent lightroom plugins that accomplish this, i feel it would have done a much better job as well.

If there was a lot of green in the background and some clouds then everyone could tell that this is infrared since the green would be white and the clouds would be black.

Really? Thanks a lot. I appreciate your criticism.

It was a filter on a dslr. I was unaware of the adobe software that was available because I am not proficient in digital imaging, as I am in the dark room. It was an experiement. There is no need to knock on my skills whatsoever.
As a matter of fact, the rest of my photography doesn't look like this, and there are a handful of people on this fourm that can back me up on that. If you guys really don't have anything nice or constructive to say, then don't say it at all.

All of my albums are set to private on my myspace, except the recent TST meet and my tagged photos.
