BOV Vacuum Line Question

need to know if the BOV vacuum line should be free flowing [engine off] and have a vacuum at idle

the reason i ask is because i just installed a perrin TMIC and now im having two issues

1. im not hitting my target boost which i may just need a ECU rest and a QUICK relearn

2. im not hearing my BOV/Recirc it used to be loud but now its barely noticeable and when it was cool out tonight on my drive home i heard what sounded like flutter possibly compressor surge

i am thinking that i may have pinched off a line during the install???

because when i got home i disconnected the vacuum line going to the BOV and had nothing then with the eng off i couldnt blow or suck through the line. i thought that ran straight to the manifold? their isnt a check valve on that line,is their ??

any help would be much appreciated

The larger tmi. Will be a factor in not hitting target boost. Are you tuned at all??

yea im stg 2 tuned i did OS email tuning with xpt

Catless DP,N1,EXhaust,AEM CAI,255 pump,AEM UEGO,TurboXS RFL ReCirc, and a bunch of mount upgrades

not hitting target is not my main concern right now i can always get the map adjusted but the surge/no bov is what im worried about ???

i really think theirs something wrong because i hear almost no BOV at all and like i said i heard what sounded like compressor surge on the way home tonight and that BOV line is acting like its pinched or clogged

im going to pull the TMIC off tomorrow at work and check it out i know the TMIC is very close to hitting the slave cylinder but other then that i thought it was clearing everything else

Be sure that the tmic is connected to the throttle body correctly.
