At full boost and shifting at high rpm i really like my type s, but when cruising and going from 0-5 psi i hate it. Its a big annoying whistle. My friend has same bov and it sounds little bit liek a whip crack from 0 and up and when wot sounds pretty much same as mine. Its all in adjustign it and not havign it leak.
My favorite bov is still tial.

I have the RS. I know lots of people who use the Type-s without any problems, they mainly use them because they are easy to recirculate and hold pressure.

the bottom line is, it depends on if you want a recirc or not. IF you do, go greddy rs, if you dont, id say go hks. matt had both on his car, he went with the rs and i have the hks. Both are nice...no squeeks.

Recirc=car runs better (especially if your making above 300whp)...on my dsm, it went from stalling a bunch to being smooth..big difference

I have had mine for over a year now. I still love hearing it. I like it mostly because it is so different from every other one on the market. And at high RPM its an awesome sound. It does take some time to adjust though, or you will hear it whistle on de-accel in vacuum!

had the type s on my evo for a while, it sounds awesome and unique. It does whistle a tiny bit at low boost, but I liked it.

p.s. I have it for sale since I no longer have an evo....PM me if interested

Is this with a stock MAF sensor, or MAP sensor swap? If you are MAP you should have no issues to stalling or any of the such. It could have possibly been something else causing the stalling if you were MAP?
