NJ Kit car questions
1) I have a mid 80's 3.7 liter inline 4 from a powerboat. Would emissions testing be done to mid 80's standards or modern, 2009 standards? 2) I have to keep all receipts before going down to Atlantic City DMV to get it registered and tested but the aformentioned engine was pulled out of a boat for free by the previous owner who then gave it to me. He doesn't have a receipt for that 3.7. 3) What's the law on kit cars regarding windshield wipers? Necessary? Not necessary? 4) Is any safety equipment needed save for seatbelts (4 way harness, in my case) and the obvious left/right blinkers, tail lights, and head lights?
