Hey all, haven't been around this board much yet, been sticking to the Subaru boards for the most part. I'm from Central Jersey, right down the road from Raceway Park.

Got a 2009 Subaru WRX Wagon in dark gray metallic.

Looking forward to getting to some meets!

Yeahs i always prefer the "wilder" colors. i really wanted red but there was an insane wait for one when i was buying my car so i went with wrb. Any mods to the car yet?

I do like the blue over the red, but the red is a pretty nice color too. There's not a color that this car comes in that I dislike!

I actually was in the same boat wanting the black over dark gray, but now that I've got it I prefer the DGM.

As far as mods, you betcha - are there any WRX drivers that frequent forums who have had their car more than 2 months and it's still stock?

First off it's the premium package so I've got all the goodies that go with that (sunroof, fogs, etc), plus:

-Cobb CBE
-K&N Panel Filter
-Torqued Performance OpenSource Stage 1
-DNX-5120 Stereo w/ steering wheel controls
-STI factory short throw kit with WC Lathewerks Knob
-Prosport 60mm Premium Boost Gauge
-Roof rack, RA flaps, rain guards on the windows
-35w 5000k H11 HIDs
-Yellow Fogs 2500k (halogens) on order, should be here next week.

Had a K&N Typhoon on the car for a while with the Cobb CBE, but the stock map didn't love that.... threw some numbers off a little bit and it pulled a little timing. Probably would have been okay, but I got rid of it. Sounded SO GOOD though.

In retrospect I shouldn't have sold it, but someone out there got a great deal on an intake. I'm going to get another K&N Typhoon intake once Torqued Performance starts developing a stage 1 for use with that intake. The only OpenSource OTS option for stage1+intake right now is XPT for use with the AEM CAI... supposedly a great tuner, but I just prefer the K&N.

Also, I see you're from Northampton... I know that area fairly well I graduated from Lehigh University. I still go back and visit every once in a while, though it's usually on the bike since it's such good riding out there ;) Since the weathers cooling off though I'll be out there with the car I'm sure -- I'll keep an eye out for meets in the area!
