Comcast email problem

I am wondering if this is happening to someone else also.

I am able to sign in but when I click on read mail it goes back to the same screen. I have been unable to open messages for about 5 days now.

Set up your comcast mail using Outlook. Works great, don't have to use the horrible web interface, and never have to worry about the problem you are having now.

It's very simple to set up.

Incoming mail server is mail.comcast.net
Outgoing mail server is smtp.comcast.net

If you decide to do it and need more help let me know.

Have you tried clearing your cookies? If that doesnt work or you'd rather not then just call up tech support and they'll walk you through things to figure out the issue.

what they said. comcast email sucks. i use to be a comcast install tech and the first thing we would tell people when installing the internet, is how bad the email service is and to use a different email provider lol

I've never had a problem until 5 days ago. I've had comcast email for 5 years now. I am not sure what happened.

Ok, it works if I use Google Chrome browser but it doesn't work if I use firefox.
I'm guessing there's a problem with my firefox browser?

You have to have Microsoft Outlook installed 1st. Windows comes with Outlook Express or if you are using Vista it comes with Windows Mail, but essentially the same thing as Express.

If you've never used it before, just open it up, and it will prompt you to set up an account.
