im very dissapointed in this. he needs to hang it up and bask in whatever glory he may have had...

he should just do commentary on tv or something

I don't understand why he even came back last year. He was gonna get PAID to retire. If someone paid me millions to retire... I'd take it in an instant.

Guess the guy just loves football too much to stop.

Brett should just put on a pair of Lee Dungerees, jump in his Ford 1-50, and drive himself to retirement.

i feel u but its obviously not about the dough. He's got money. Its the ego of the athlete. Being an athlete i understand why he cant give it up and why he feels as though he still has something to prove despite the fact that he holds the majority of the QB records. But what i dont agree with is the way he has gone about his retirement or the lack of.

I still hope this season is a success for him.

I understand too, being that I'm an athlete as well.

I sure hope he's successful... but he's been on and off about retiring for years now... and quite frankly, it's getting old.

I don't dislike him, but I am so sick of hearing about Favre! I wish the news would stop covering it. Every week he changes! If I were George Bush (in my best Bush voice) "Brett Favre is a flip-flopper!"

I think Favre will keep playing until he settles the score with the Packers.

He was in practice pads today with the team, with a jersey made for him as well.

He is annoying, I hope the Packers put a whooping on him and he goes away with his head between his legs. Its not about football at all with him, it's all about him. He just can't stand being with his wife because he hasn't spent time with her in 15+ yrs
