My s13 drift car build , Rhd S14 and 76' Datsun 620

So i guess ill start off with my s13 drift slut

i bought this for whopping 400 bills with Ka24e and auto trans.
shortly after purchasing i ripped the motor and trans out and left it to sit in my drive way for almost a year while i drove my old hatch.

heres the arrival picture

so almost a year goes by i sold my hatch a few months back just before winter in preparation to build my coupe. this is the day i decided to bring the car to the shop and start the build of course we got hammered with snow and it took me almost an hour to get the car on the trailer
heres a pic of the home stretch

so i get in in the shop and the tear down begins

first removal of the nose

then the interior

so the next step was to tub the front end of my car so i cut out the wheel wells found some metal and welded it into place

next was to test fit the powerplant sr20det

so at this point i wanted a cage i had the car torn down this far i figured why not so i bought a tube bender

bent the main hoop first then the a pillars and so on

heres the cage pretty much done

after that i pretty much went back to the engine bay painted it flat black just becuase it was easy mounted everything up and got her started

so next was to mount my silvia front end that i had kept from my hatch

so the weather got warmer by this point and i was sick of staying at the shop long hours and i brought the car home to work on it first thing was to put new brakes and rotors on the car because before me the car had sat for about 4 years

so im getting tired this thread is way long so next i painted the car engine bay and such i had made a bash bar for the ic and purchased a body kit

finally made it out to an event and beat the living crap out my car like any 240 owner should

Did you cut up a barrel for those front tubs? That's awesome. As said above, I like your style; Building things on a budget and enjoying them to their fullest.

yes i did and wasnt so much for the budget thing on any of it. You want it done right do it yourself my cage is uber tight to the chassis so much so you can barely tell my car has a cage

the barrels well it was the perfect fit and i really didnt care for the fact that they were barrels it just made my life really easy lol

blew up my motor coming home from a drift zombies event in queens back in november motors pulled and disassembled waiting to get some funds to rebuild.

also i picked up this rusty hatch sohc that a friend and i are going to turn into a missile after we take turns dailying it for a while. lol
the interior is like mint as hell. and its only had one owner for most of its life
plans for now are 4.90 gears and some coils.
