If you put a McLaren F1 and this at the line, and let the McLaren get to 141mph before you start in the Veyron, you will beat it to 200.

Yeah this is old now lol... a week ago. Everyone should get the full torrent. Either way yeah it is cool but how much power does the f1 have, and this car only only goes 12 mph faster.

But it can go from 0-200mph in the time it takes the F1 to go 141-200mph. Talk about powah!

To be honest i think jeremy gives it alot more credit then it deserves the f1 is a 10 year old car that can do 241 with only 627 hp as opposed to 1001. I think the f1 is just a better acomplishment.

Top speed is said to be 253 according to everything i have seen the world top speed production car record is still set by the Koenigsegg CCR.

Top speed is limited to 253mph because of tires.

And like Jeremy said, The Veyron’s tranny is designed to last 10 to 20 years of 1000 horses pounding to the ground (and has to weigh as much as a bag of flour.)

Also, 12mph faster (in the mid 200mph range) is very difficult to achieve. I’m still very impressed with this car.

Hah hah… and James is only VFR rated.

I really wish they ha given it to the Stig. I doubt it would have been as fast around the track as some of the other cars, but it would have been interesting.

I mean i don't think they could make something that costs that much make it awd with that much power and not make it handle atleast reasonably well.

I’m only guessing (due to it’s weight.) Jeremy did say it handles like a Lotus (as hard as that is to believe with that much weight… however, I’d love to see it eat asphalt.)
