Where do I get a good Big 16G?

My friend has just finished rebuilding his SAAB 9000 and we're looking for a turbo. Looking at the compressor map a Big 16G should yield 350hp to 400hp, which is right where we want to be for a powerful FWD. I know where to get every part you could need for a saab, but mitsubishi parts elude me. I see these turbos on ebay for $200, but that seems waaaaaay too cheap. Where can I get a good quality unit and what's a good price to pay for one?

The evo3 16g is the biggest/baddest 16g variant. You could probably find it a little cheaper than that. People have made over 400 whp with them. Those ones your finding for 200 bux on ebay are probably the knock off ones not a real mitsu turbo.

Cheaper than $600?!? Man, why were we ever even thinking about those expensive Garrett turbos.

FP? They're all about the custom turbo market so I would give them or Blouch a call and tell them your goals/intentions.

See that's exactly what I need, just the reputable places to get these things.

Damn, Blouch will upgrade my TD04 for under $400. I'm going to have to get that done.

Which of the td04 upgrades on their site is that?

Would a td05 14b be an option? I've seen them put down 320 awhp before and you can pick up a decent used one for 100 bux if your lucky.

The Blouch guys are good people. You win whether you go to them or FP so good luck.
