UPDATE! Menacing's 93 SE-R -SOLD!

Picked her up for about a grand. Needed Power steering fluid, Clutch fluid, And at one point a strut in the right read. Couldnt tell from these pics which i strategically took to avoid an eyesore. She had been backed into before i bought her. Plan to fix her up and then mod her. Came stock with the SR20DE so parts shouldn't be an issue for the motor atleast.

Have fixed/changed/added:
Right Rear strut ( monroe OEM replacement for now)
power steering fluid
Clutch fluid
Sparkplugs
Air filter
Alpine head unit

Still needs :
Clutch adjustment, possibly a new clutch
Minor bodywork to the right rear ( tho it doesnt look as bad now with that strut fixed)
oil change
Alignment
Tire Rotation/balance
Inspection ( when the permanent registration comes in)

Once She is set straight and running better ( which i noticed a huge improvement today after the strut replacement ) I will start modding her. Its a daily work in progress and will be a project car for quite some time. But so far I love this car. Fill it up once a week costing $30 and I am set for the week on gas! Pics of head unit and If I can find them The damage before the strut was fixed and ow after are coming soon.

I remember the days when these cars were the rage. They had some real potential.

Thanks guys.. Erik, I might give you a call when I am ready to start modding her. I had the strut replaced friday and something seems off. It felt like a rush job they didnt want to do in the first place, then they charged me DOUBLE what we had agreed on.Driving it the past 24 hrs since its been done, it seems stiffer, and not nearly as wobbly but Still I have a sneaking suspicion that they didnt tighten the mounting bolt enough , a feeling which sucks and I cant shake. Needless to say I dont plan on taking my car back to this place EVER again. Under normal circumstances I would do the vast majority of the work on my own, however I can do that for another.. 5 months give or take. On the good note of the day, She got her first bath and quick wax. For as old as she is and as many dents, dings and other things that come with an 18 yr old car, she is still shiny !

So Broke an axle in ohio , got that fixed... Got back into town only to find out my tired were inflated entirely too much.. one tire was bigger than the others nad I knew this.. That one was at 80 PSI , the rest were at 50.. Went to the mall to find a cartridge for my electric cigarette, and the car was shaking violently and the tire was deformed quite severely so I picked up yet another tire from sears.. Next up.. Clutch needs to be done sooner than later, and I need an alignment.

If you still have the injectors I may be needing some.. might as well upgrade instead of simply repairing.

Erik.. I need directions.. Shes sitting at exton nissan getting looked at right now so I had a detailed list of what needs to be done ( and to see how much they would try to jerk me for which they did MAJORLY ) So far they are telling me about 5 k worth of work if I had it done thru them which includes little ****. ( which I am not having them do AT ALL ) .. List gets lengthy but I will have the complete list tomorrow. These are a few of the things she needs just to start

new compression rings
Clutch cable ( thank god the clutch is fine )
3 new tires ( ill have those by weeks end hopefully )
Injectors

on the positive side, she doesnt knock or ping, nor does she blow smoke.. Still runs just runs rough. So I figured since major work needs to be done.. might as well upgrade what I can.

Motor will cost you 1600ish depending on condition and obviously transmission you can't use since its an awd trans with it....unless you want to do an awd conversion

but i'd say if you do it yourself you'll be in 2500-3000 if you do the swap correctly...

hmm.. something to think about.. I am thinking about selling it tho.. I need the money for another car.. one with less or no problems.. was looking at a 2.5 RS I might get this week. Dont get me wrong I LOVE this car but I'll know more tomorrow if I am gonna bite the bullet and fix her /mod her or just buy something nicer... its all contingent upon how bad off she is. I would love to keep it but if its gonna cost me more than its worth , or more than something better with no problems then its gonna have to go.

oh no I want to mod my car.. Lol. Hubby doesnt want to mod THIS car, but so far hes not complaining about modding the 2.5RS I am likely gonna have by the weekend. No See I cant leave a car completely stock.. I jsut cant do it.. even one with no potential has potential to me.. lol. Modding is my addiction. Just for the price its going to cost me to mod/fix this car, I can have something much nicer with NO issues.
