I'm going to go to the track on the 15. I've heard of other people wanting to go on a Fri night. Post up if you want to go..

Oh, and it'll spew a cloud of oil every time I get above about 4500 rpm.

There was no way to drive around a guy with a hose who felt it was a good idea to spray down my tires when I was waiting to stage.

You didn't spin ALL the way down the track... but yes thru 1st and 2nd you did... and you have an automatic. Besides... it rained the night before. Even the muscle cars were complaining about traction. It wasn't a good day.

First and second were the first.

Remember the second one when I blew 3rd down against the WS6? Right before we left. I think that's what put the final touches on the valves to make it start to crap.

How the hell did you manage to spin through 1st and 2nd? I've been to the track on some nasty nights but I've never had trouble with anything but 1st... perhaps you guys have some weird tires?

Firestone affinities. You know...the worst tires ever.

And it's an automatic. It'll blow through first like no tomorrow.

But Automatics have less trouble than manuals with spinning off the line..

Wet brake torque. Didn't think the water would hurt me that much with a 110 track temp. Obviously, I was mistaken.
