my first bike.... 2009 ninja 250r

Ok well this is my first bike. Its a 2009 ninja 250r. I picked it up about 5 weeks ago. Dont make fun cuz its only a 250 lol.

now that's my kind of bike! seriously.. i've really been thinking about getting one lol. only a 250? who cares. it's gotta be fun to get out and ride. you don't need to be riding on one wheel for a mile or going 100+ weaving through traffic like a complete douche bag to have fun.

you don;t understand. It's not that it wouldn;t be fun, you will just grow out of it very quickly, it will be fine at first but you'll start to get bored with it. You'll get into situations in traffic like merging on highways where you wish you had a lil more power between your legs.

my first bike was a zx6r and even that was pretty tame and easy to handle.

take it to the twisties and see how tame it is

nice pick up man, i felt the same was as the guy above. my 1st bike was/still is an 08 zx6r. when i was just riding around i thought it was pretty decent but nothing special. now that i'm getting pretty comfortable with it i'm beginning to ride harder and harder and it's like a whole new bike. people will always hate no matter what, so don't let it get to you. enjoy your bike, respect it, and you will have a ton of fun. when you're ready you'll move up and you'll be that much better on the next bike.

great beginner bike. i learned how to ride on a 600, never rode a 250 b4...and now i got a R1...lol trust me you'll want to go bigger as soon as u get the hang of it

I picked it up for 4700 out the door. Next year I'm prolly gonna sell it and buy a cbr but as of right now I'm enjoying the 60mpg on 87 octane lol. It's not crazy fast considering it only runs a 14.5 in the 1/4 and has the same 0-60 as a wrx. My driving record is kinda bad and I only pay 70 a month for full coverage for it and I'm on my permit.

I already ordered my rear fender delete cuz I can't stand the rear fender on the bike lol. I'm not gonna do too much to it though. I'll just enjoy it while I have it.

Who cares man...your riding. thats all that mattters...Just ride right and buy good gear and youll be good...You dont need a 600 to start those bikes are great!!!

dude its cool, when I get my first bike its going to be a ninja 250 or 500. nice bike. 70 a month is a little high, I have 2 friends, one pays 250 a year, and the other 150.

Well I'm 20 and I just had 5 points including a careless driving charge so I wasn't expecting much less lol. And I loved the blue when I saw it so I had to have it in blue. Nice bike btw

im not hating, i never said a ninja 250 isn;t a nice bike, i am just saying he will grow out of it fast.
