Just got Brides- Need some harnesses...Advice?

Well I ahve been looking around for some harnesses after picking up some brides and im not sure which direction to go in. Takatas have been around for a while but I think thye are played out.

Whats a clean harness I could get? I would like a deep gold to match my wheels/valve cover--- but I dont know if that exists----
Any help here?

Well a roll bar with no cage is bad news. When your strapped in the seat and cant really move, if you roll the car your gonna crush your head. I would only suggest a harness and harness bar with a roll cage.

How do you use the car? If your drag racing you might want to look into something NHRA approved like Simpson, RCI ,RJS. The dont run as much as Takata which is a plus and they are accepted in more formats state side.

I'm actually going to be getting a set of RJS 5 points. They come in bolt to the harness bar, or around the bar style, NHRA approved, durable, and they don't cost an arm and a leg for something that expires..... like our Bride seats

I have to agree although Takaka'a are awsome they are kinda played. Check out RaceTech belts - http://www.racetechseatsna.com/harness.html Not cheap but very solid.

Also check out OMP

Willans, OMP, Simpson, Scroth (something like that). They're all pretty good, i believe Willans and OMP are FIA approved. Takata is nice...

The rule is no harness without a rollbar. That is, you do not want just a harness bar, roll bars will protect the roof from crushing you in an accident. That's why you're only required a 6pt over 10.00 or under 135.

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.

I have a roll bar, not a roll cage--- which is still overhead protection from rollover. It will be suffecient- I am not going 10's... yet. Anyway--- show me some links on these harnesses I need to buy today! so that they can get here for 4/11
