As some of you might or might not know I have a 6month old daughter. Don't live with the mother and haven't gotten a chance to see the baby! Her lawyer is her grandfather and somehow worked it out to forbid me to see her. We'll I've been working and saving to afford a lawyer to take her back to court and today I find out she is going to move out to Colorado to start a family, search for a guy...blah, blah blah blah. If I don't get the chance to get to court I dont' know if i would ever see her. I got one pic of her. Wat do you guys think would happen, should I do. The lawyer thats helped me before costs 600 bucks, I'm around 200 right now. Wat should I do? Thanx

Holy **** dude, Thats so beat. Theres gotta be someway to prevent that from happening but does she have full custody??

Yes she does, I'm restricted by court that I can't see the baby, until its clear with the court and thats the reason why I need a lawyer, I'm getting royaly f'd

I stopped after talking to the court, cus i was paying 200-250 a week for a long time. and told him i'm not doing it anymore, its not fair and you know it to someone whose only 20. I'm getting a lawyer I told him, and i told my ex.

I thought you couldn't move out of the state without permission fron the other parent. But that may just be if you have visitation.

damn man wish i could help the only person i know in law is the assistant DA of philly and the local judge arround here for my town. i hope all works out for you.

try having a mature talk with her w/o any yelling or arguing... tell her how you honestly feel... tell her how u want to be a part of her life and you want to work this out like adults... see what happens- its def. worth a try dude

agreed... also you might be able to file an injunction to try to get her not to take the baby out of state... i don't know much but that rings a bell... keep us posted, this is sad.

At this point you would be wasting money with a lawyer. If here grandfather is protecting her you will never have enough money for your lawyer to be able to fight this.

Your best bet is to try to strike a deal with her personally. I assume you guys got along at one point, so you might as well try to get along again now. It's worth it if you really care about seeing your baby.

Save your money, you wont even get partial custody after he overhypes the lack of payments in court.

Things must be really different in NJ. Unless you've been convicted of a felony or you're deemed a threat that just should not have happened. And 200+ is insane, i pay 125 and i was told thats high.

Yeah I know man seriously. Thats why I told the judge that I wasn't gonna continue to pay, especially leaving with so little funds to pay bills. Needless to say I racked up a lil on my credit to pay for things.
