Does anyone know what one of these is worth?

It has like 2k miles on it, and polished. (not sure if that makes a difference??)

Just the charger.

It was off a Mustang, and I was told it has an upgraded pulley (I can not verify this), and has about 2-3k miles on it.

I bought it to mock up a kit for my Spyder, but, unfortunately, it spins the wrong direction for what I need. I was told I can change the gears inside to make it spin the other direction... I tried getting Vortech on the phone yesterday, but no luck. I'm going to try calling them again on Monday, and if I don't get anywhere, then I guess I'll be putting it up for sale, and finding one that spins the other direction *sigh*

next to a stock VR-4 9b turbo

you know you could just mount it facing the opposite way to make it spin the correct direction, right? Since you'll have to fab up mounting and everything anyway...

There's not enough room to mount it the opposite direction, unless we used a double sided belt, and kind of looped the belt around with an extra pulley or two.

We'll see. I have to give Vortech a call this afternoon (They're on Cali time, so, I have to wait until at least noon).

They are like $1200 - $1500 new I think.

But they suck man - I wouldn't bother putting on a crappy CF blower on a turbo car

I also put in a high performance kanooder valve, and I swapped in the exhaust bearing from a Bugatti Veyron. So u deff dont want it now Pinnacup. Id make ur little GTO look like a GTSlow. LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And to stay on topic, u can custom fabricate anything u want. Or at least as much as ur wallet allows. Its like the little engine that could. U gotta think u can

I didn't pay nearly that much for it. I think I got a good deal.

My Spyder is Non Turbo. The boyfriend said I wasn't allowed to turbo it, so, I told him I wanted to supercharge it then... he said OK

I did have them check the serial number, and it's a V-2 S-trim... supports up to 680hp... not too shabby

I guess this baby is up for sale. *sigh*

If you can fit a GT42 and larger turbo... you can fit a supercharger
