1jz is a nice motor - RB or JZ would kick ass in an S chassis. You going to stick to stock turbos for now?

ok so told i got some work done, not to much cause the power went out in the shop and we had no air compressor or welder.

srry for the crappy cell phone pics.

Took out the dash and started removing the body harness, we are planning on deleting most of the harness to run the only the necessities..

Kill switch, push button start and my switchs were running:

Still in the process of removing everything out of the engine bay:

just got a set of unorthodox pulleys, they were originally on our lexus sc300 shop car:

Last thing is i removed the rear sump oil pan and waiting on getting a front sump oil pan this week:

I will have alot more progress pictures up this week, so stay tuned

im gonna stick with the stock twins for this season. The only thing that is getting swapped out is the stock valve springs, i have a set of Brian Crower valve springs that are going in this week. As for next season i plan on going single turbo, bigger injectors, power fc or motec and log intake manifold not really sure yet on what else im doing

so heres a little update over the last couple of days...i havent really had time to work on my car due to the fact that we are swapped with customer cars but heres what we got done.

Us trying to figure out how to mount the motor:

we finally got it in but i wasnt to comfortable with the way the oil pan was sittin, according to Tech 2 you have to space out the sway bar so you can fit the oil pan. I said **** that and started marking the pan so i can notch it to make it fit:

next up is the shifter, here is where the stock location would be on the r154 trans. Im in the process of fabbing up the shifter extension:

So we took the motor back up and made a mock up oil pan and put the motor back in:

And wala heres how the motor sits, we have it on 2x4's on the the mounts so we can mock up the mounts tomorrow:
