I finally decided to get a new car. I just got this 2009 Mazda3 hatchback s last week. It's a 5 speed and the color is copper red mica. The color is darker in person.

It will most likely just get a short shift kit (already ordered), an eibach pro kit, and some 6000k HID's for the headlights. Intake and exhaust might come along eventually but they aren't very high on the list.

I had the car home for 10 mibnutes and I left the door opened to show it to my dad. My mom's dog decided to check the whole car out. I had little muddy footprints everywhere in my brand new car.

I am having the paint treated, the interior sealed, and the underbody sprayed in a week anyway.

Lol, it's still around. It will just be getting significantly less miles put on it.

how many miles are on it?

About 8k on the new motor, less than 1k on the suspension, and over 180k on the body.

Nice man that's sick. I will be selling both cars I have and am actually looking to get a black 3 hatch. Be sure to check out that TB ground mod on the mazda3forums.

The plans right now are a short shifter that's waiting at the mazda dealership and possibly 6000k HID's in the near future. I want to lower it on eibach pro kit springs and probably get some eibach sway bars too. Other than a few chassis/strut braces and possibly an aftermarket rear motor mount it will stay stock.

There's no sense in trying to make it fast. The 2.3 isn't underpowered for the car anyway. Passing is easy and it never really lacks power during daily driving. I would have bought a MS3 if I wanted gobs of power. I just want it to handle like it is on rails and get a steady 28+ mpg.

A few recent pictures. I have to play around with Gimp some and see what kind of effects I can make. I just downloaded it and I have never used it before.

I took these with my Canon S3IS and the color accent setting.

I made the backgrounds black and white in these two shots. I think it showcases the color of the car nicely.

I blurred the background slightly in this shot.
