Balancing Weld Pro Star w/ Mickey Thompson Front Runner plz!

I have a set of 15x4" Weld Pro star wheels with Mickey Thompson ET Fronts (26"x4.5"x15"). I had them mounted at NTB. They said they couldn't balance them because the Pro Stars have a piece in the center that moves when the wheel is not torqued. I think its crap because tons of guys get these things balanced and some say they just get an insert thru one of the lug holes and it centers the inner piece.

Anywayy....

I'd like to get these balanced if possible!!!

Any help?

I am in the Langhorne/Newtown area

they are correct. That center piece does get clamped when mounted on the car.. But when its put on a balancer it does not get "clamped"

Mike,

The oldschool Weld Prostars have a "floating center" between the rim halfs. Don't know why.
