wanting to ship wheels but dont have the proper means to ship them----anyone have boxes that fit a 17" wheel w/245 tire? Overall diameter is around 22 inches...LMK!

Do whateverybody else does. get a peice of cardboard big enough to fit just the front face and the rear face of the wheel and shrink wrap the entire thing.

I shipped my wheels and tires that way and I'm pretty sure tire rack does it as well.

Yup! That's how TireRack ships! Big ole piece of cardboard in each side with shrink wrap around it.

or if you just take it to the UPS store, they have boxes there.

cardboard and shrink wrap. usps, fedex, ups, they all can get u boxes. even maybe like staples or something like it

If you find nothing, I got 2 boxs here thatll deffently atleast 1 a peice.

You could always try pep boys or wal-mart. They always have rim boxes from what they sell and install in house...

UPS store had a box that would fit 2 18's w/ tires...but they raped me for the packaging.

yea those shipping stores kill you with packaging and shipping

start a fedex account online at fedex.com is very easy and saves a ton of money. print labels and put them on the box/wheel (my local store gives me the stick on pouches free for lables).

you can get a roll of the shrink wrap stuff at staples for liek $20-30 or 4 rolls on ebay for $70. 1 roll lasts a long time tho
