Canon 85 1.8 or 100 2.0? Other Ideas?
Any other alternatives that I should look into that you have experience with? I know I could just read a bunch of reviews, but I'd rather see what some of your opinions are.

I'd read a bunch of reviews
. If others have input here too then thats cool, but I don't personally.

Well maybe you could tell me how much of a difference there is in the extra 15mm of the 100mm. I know the f-stop difference isn't much, but I'd prefer to go faster if the 15mm difference isn't much.
Maybe someone could shoot a shot at 85mm and at 100mm so i could see the difference? Same object that is.

The difference in focal length will be slight... not very noticeable really. The potential difference and deciding factor between the lenses would be more based on price, image quality, and focusing speed if thats a concern for you.
Going and checking them both out in person at a camera store is a good idea if you can.

the 85 f1.8 and 135 f2L are both amazing lenses. the 85L would be awesome too but im guessing thats a bit steep on price for you right now.
