Bump.

I need a good video editor. It doesn't need to be free.

I have Final Cut Pro and use that in conjunction with After Effects...

My friend is notorious for using iMovie with a **** ton of plugins...

Did you ever try using Windows Movie Maker?

i use Sony Vegas Pro 8.0, and burn dvds with Dvd Architect Pro 4.5... along with photoshop you can make some pretty nice dvd menus. but yea..... Sony Vegas, what exactly are you trying to do, just arrange the video or add effects? after effects is good for adding effects, plus theres a ton of tutorials available if theres something you need to do and arent sure how. i want to get an Avid setup, i hear you can do some pretty highend stuff with that setup.... but i'll prolly only get as far as final cut.lol.
