They have (had?) the RalliArt brand. Don't know if they do performance parts for the X though.

Yes you can buy ralliart parts for the car. They are super expensive and most of the time if you buy from the dealer they will warranty it no prob..

I brought my car in for warranty work in 11 second form..As long as you are a reasonable individual and don't come in with a fried clutch and a boost controller you will be ok..You can always put it back to stock before you bring it in..

depends on the dealership. a lot will void the warrenty with mods, some will work with you if your cool and do maintenence work there. for the most part, i have heard bad things about mitsu warranties and have been declined myself.

i asked a guy from JSC speed and this is what he told me about voiding warrenty.....
"Many people confuse voiding a warranty with refusal of service. For example, you put an intake on your car and take it to a dealership, they can refuse to do warranty work or diagnose a problem because of aftermarket parts. This does not mean that your warranty is “void”. By law, no warranty can be void without a full investigation and proving that the aftermarket parts on your car were the direct cause of the failure. Only then can your warranty be officially void. This has been outline in the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson-Moss_Warranty_Act"

This is VERY true. ...although most dealerships will try to void your warranty any way...and yes, I mean VOID it. They will black list your vehicle due to "performance" parts and decline any further warranty coverage. Is it legal? No. Unless you decided to fight them, they can do what they want. Mitsu is one of the worst companies when it comes to this. If you fight them, you'll likely win...if you can afford to fight them.
