I bought some land...a lot of it. I just bought 8 acres of land in Charlotte NC. Its 6 buildable acres, 1.5 of woods and .5 is a pond/lake. It actually a really nice piece of property. Most of my family lives in NC, and even in the state of the economy Charlotte is booming. Anyway, there goes the turbo for my car and a lot of other stuff. Not that im regretting it at all, but the car modding is at a stand still for a long time now.

The land is a lifetime of satisfaction. Like you'll get more out of that land than you will any car. I mean ****... U still have ur car lol. Congrats man. That's really awesome and gl with it.

you planning on building a place for yourself keeping all 6 buildable acres of land or are you gonna build a couple houses like 3? and keep maybe one to yourself and rent/sell the others?

yea man real estate is the way to go since its a buyers market now. just wait till everything gets back in order you'll be making alot of money from this investment. best of luck to you

Im not sure what I plan on doing with the land yet honestly. I paid 20K more for the land then I would have 3 years ago...and thats a lot of increase in 3 years!! I guess i'll see what its worth, when im ready to work with it. The wise thing would be to sell half of the land, or rent half of it. But, on the other hand it would be awesome to just build a house on it smack in the middle and claim my big ass property

He just got done building their 4500 sq. ft house in NC. Thing is AWESOME.

this is something i kinda felt like doing for a living but not sure yet. investing in realestate. helps that my dad is into it (we have 5 or so rentals in norristown) and is a part time realator while working at merck lol. so yeah. he is busy.

Well...just got back from bestbuy. Anyway, right now im setting up my brand new 46 inch LCD 1080P tv

4 HMDI inputs, PC input so I can plug my laptop into it and surf TST on a huge as screen. Pics when I get it set up. Few hours.
