What is a clean e30 coupe shell worth(325/318)? Are there certain rust areas(like the wheel wells on hondas) that just always seem to rust? Are there any other common issues to be looking for? I have been thinking about getting a long term project and have wanted an e30 for a year or two now.

If you're looking just for a non -m e30 shell i would say max 1k. I'm not all too familiar with e30 prices. That's how much I would pay for an non m e30 shell. Then I would get a full s52 swap hehe.
