Some pictures I done did (56k be VERY warned)

Let me stress that I am BY NO MEANS a professional. 90%+ of these pictures were just taken with my Canon PowerShot A510 with no special lenses or equipment... Also, there is only one picture here that has been touched up with photoshop (it's one of the mountain ones at sunset, you should be able to tell which one)

Anyway, I like to carry my camera around with me in case I see something interesting, and I like snapping pictures of things, overlooks particularly, or anything that strikes my interest of having the possibility of making a decent picture... these are a few that I've been particularly happy with... be gentle:

Nelson Overlook, Appalachian Trail between Wind Gap and Delaware Water Gap, PA

Pottstown, PA area

Millersville University

Lancaster, PA

Bangor, PA

Trout Run Nature Preserve, Lancaster County, PA

Sam Lewis State Park, York County, PA

Chickies Rock, Columbia, PA

Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, Tioga County, PA

Wellsboro, PA

Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, Tioga County, PA

Yale University, New Haven, CT

Knoebels Amusement Park, Elysburg, PA

Cool picture. I'm kinda freaked out that I've been to all of these places

Wellsboro is so lovely. I've been to that Grand Canyon place. Saw quite a few Eagles.

Nelson Overlook is awesome too.

Nice pictures!

Thanks everyone, for the kind words. I'm half expecting one of the guys who actually does real photography to run in here and rip me apart about what filters I should have used and how I could touch stuff up and all about the hundreds of dollars I need to spend on equipment. lol

Yeah, Jeffros, it is kind of weird that you've been to all those places... granted, most of them are in pennsylvania, and some of them are pretty popular areas, but, Bangor? and Trout Run? really?

And, I have no idea how that silo got all dented up, I guess I should have asked... maybe I'll remember when I go back up there in June. lol

I suppose I have gotten the opportunity to do a little bit of traveling around the states in the past couple years... also, Geocaching takes me to a lot of cool overlook points that I wouldn't have otherwise known existed.

I try to make it a point to go the the rally in Wellsboro every June, and in the last couple years I've been in Dallas, Vegas, NYC, New Haven, all over PA, Sandusky, Jacksonville/St. Augustine, Boston/Cambridge, Nashville, Memphis, and basically every other town/city between Dallas and Lancaster, probably other places I'm forgetting too... Too bad I didn't get great pictures in all of them, but I guess I've been lucky enough to at least get out and around to check out some of the country.
