B18c or H22 Del Sol

Hey what would the prices be to swap a OBD1 B18c into a 1996 Del Sol or an ODB1 H22a into the same model?
Thanks.

We are currently out of stock on GSR longblocks and swaps. We have three B16 longblocks that could be put into swap packages including GSR transmissions with ITR LSD's. One is OBD2, two are OBD1. We have a H22a with LSD trans as well. We also have one B18C Integra Type R swap w/ 11:1 compression for $5500 installed, running with ac and power steering:

And a complete EK9 Civic Type R B16B swap with Mugen headers for $5200 installed.

Do it.

The swap is gorgeous and Jon does TOP of the line work.

Besides, the Mugen header makes Baby Jesus happy.

Do the H2B swap man!!!!.... Some much nicer and faster. if you want a mid to high 12 sec car with no internal work done, do it. If you want to build the car and turbo it you can go two different ways. Build the B series motor and stuff. Or you can get a F23 Bottom end with H22 top end throw some pistons and rods in there and turbo it. F23 is cast iron sleeved from the factory and can u can 14 psi through it all day man. GO big man. Good luck bro

The H2B kits cost around $1500. Your still going to need an engine, ecu, B-series trans, B-series axles, B-series mounts, B-series starter, B-series slave cylinder, B-series clutch, modified H header and whatever I'm forgetting. It's a pretty cool setup but I just don't think it's that cost effective when you can get all of the above mentioned parts WITH a complete B series swap, all coming from the same exact car, knowing it all works and be able to make 300+whp on pump gas all day long with a turbocharged B16, B18C, B18B etc.

And as far as "running 14 psi through it all day", what exactly do you mean? An engine doesn't know what 14 psi is. It just knows what cylinder pressure is. Manifold pressure is irrelevant when your not giving a turbo size. 14 psi from a T25 is not the same as 14 psi from a T67.

Sounds like your just spouting out random internet heresay that you read or that "your boy" told you. My reasoning all comes from real world experience.

Well i have my H22 setup but my buddy did his G23 swap (f23 bottom end h22 top end) My regular h22 swap is nice but i wish i would have bought a H2B Kit. Most b series stuff you can find anywhere. Its harder for the H22. My buddy sold his car to I believe impo.... Thing was a complete monster but i don't know what turbo his was running. Now as far as what he wants to use the car as.... i don't know if he wants straight line performance or does he want to perform around turns. If he wants straight line just do the h22. But if he wants turns go with the B series. I have alot of money into my suspension that allows me to handle pretty damn well around turns now. So if he wants to do ALOT of turns just go with a built B. I'l find out about the turbo tho....

Edit.... Turbo was a Saab T3 but impo upgraded it even further. I'll see if i can find out what its running now

Well for now I'm just getting an idea of how much Im gonna have to spend. The B18c Type-r sounds like the best deal. I can't go for it at the moment but Im in no rush so I'll most likely be contacting you once I decide to get it done.
Thanks for all the info though.

i actually LMAO'd

but to the OP, i know this thread is a little old, but jon is definitely the man to go to for engine swaps, he did my 1JZ swap with everything working like it did from the factory

not only did he do that, but since the car sat for over 4 years, he went through and checked the car over to make sure it was road worthy

here are some pictures of my engine about a week after i got the car back

and when i don't have to pay for tickets and body work, i'll go to him to install coilovers and maybe a single turbo down the line (but to be honest i may do the turbo myself depending on how lazy i am...i think it's badass to say "i'm installing a turbo right now")
