i was out driving earlier tonight around 8:30 and as im driving i see a vertical light in the sky, it looked like a search light or spot light for a big event. then i noticed that you could see the strart and stop of it (guessing like 30 ft. long) must have been a cloud. but when i really started looking i noticed like 25-30 of them all over the sky in the same place. they definitely weren't search lights. they were like vertical clouds with light shining thru them. kinda like northern lights. any1 else spot these? i was gonna take a picture but i didnt have my camera, only a tripod

news says, snow is falling, and with gaps in the clouds the moon is shining light off of the snow? but they also so they dont have a real answer. check out these pictures on abc news...
