oil pan gasket

I think i need a new oil pan gasket. I seem to be leaking oil from that general area. how expensive/hard is to to replace?

i just have to drop the pan, put a new one in and re-install right?

I imagine i have to remove my exhaust manifold? is that right?

There is no gasket.

Use some Fuji Bond!

Easy as pie. TDo not over tighten these bolts.

I'm almost positive you'll have to either pull the motor or drop the crossmember to get the oil pan off. If this is the case you may be able to support the engine with a hoist from above and just remove the crossmember to get access to the oil pan. Not sure what the norm is there since fortunately I havent had to deal with it. There are also a lot of places above the oil pan (engine stuff) that could be leaking down onto the oil pan. My front main seal was leaking before, which isn't really ideal either.

Also if I remember correctly it doesnt use a gasket, just silicone sealant. Please doublecheck all of my info though, haha.

I witnessed an oil pan being removed, Even with an engine hoist there was no way to get enough hight on the motor to slide the pan out (due to the oilpickup and parts inside the pan) He ended up pulling the motor and replacing the clutch in the same job. No insight on removing the crossmember though.
