Hey Bane and Sarge, I got a ticket for 95mph in a 65mph (long story so I wont explain). I know if I plead guilty it is an automatic 90 day suspension of my license so I am most likely going to plead not guilty.

I have just one question for you guys? Is this an automatic suspension no matter what or could the fines possibly be reduced by the judge (for example if driving is the only way for my sister and myself to get to school). Is there anything such as a rule that I can only drive from 6am - 6pm each day strictly for school?

Also I got a warning for careless passing. Does that count as points or is it just a warning from the officer?

I live in PA by the way.

edit: Definetly a wake up call to me. I have to stay under control now. If I really want to go fast I'll just go to a track, this was stupid but everyone's got to learn at some point.

You can plead not guilty and go to court and talk to the officer and judge to see if they will do anything. Odds are they wont reduce it to say a 5 over but they might reduce it to where you don't lose your license.

Thanks Bane I wasn't hoping a reduction of that much. I was merely hoping of a reduction of 5mph so I would be under the 26mph cap for under 18 year old drivers. Honestly this sucks but I have to deal with it now. Speeding can be fun but honestly its not for me anymore after seeing what can actually happen to my license and how much I need it for a job / school.
