Any one ran or stil run tracc and field in high school or collage? If so post your event and times you ran/jumped/threw.

Ill start, hopefully im not the only one.

1600m - 4m:30s

Ran the 400 too, but was never good at it. 53

I always tried long jump becuase I liked it, but never got a spot. Anyway, HS was 10 years ago for me and I'd be lucky to even complete the 800 these days..haha

LOL, HS was 6 years ago for me. but lately ive been feeling like training again. But i think i smoke too much now.

I was set up to have a great senior year as all those times came from previous...but I over worked myself and despite trying to work through it had a "career ending" shin/calf injury that trashed the senior year for me

I also want to start running frequently again, i miss it.

i don't smoke anymore but i've also been playing hockey my whole life even until this day, so my knees and running don't get along as good as they used to. lol

Something similar happened to me. lol. All those times i ran in the indoor season the begining of my senior year. Coming off of a super cross country season. (I was # 7 in the city) Started dating this girl, and having sex before meets, well needless to say it went down hill from there. I tried to pull myself bacc and over worked myself to shin/knee injury. Still tried to run in college and made it worse.

used to run got into downhill mountain biking which was much more fun and rewarding... don't remember my times but i ran the 100, 200, 400, and 4x100
