winter time so what do you do?

Well i was wondering what do you guys do with your bikes for the winter. me personally what i do is put my bikes up on stands/lift so that the tires don't get flat spots from sitting for so long. i also put stabil in the gas tank, but i try to use as much of the gas as i can before i put it away. i take the battery(s) out and put them on battery tenders for the winte. I also go out and start the bikes about every other week or so just to give them a quick warm up and if there is no snow or temps below 32 degrees i take it for a quick spin around the block just to get the tranny moving a little.

So what do you guys do? always looking for new ideas and tips

First Winter for Me with the Bike...But I plan on Putting it up on Stands and Keeping it covered tucked away in my Storage Unit...I dont have acess to keeping a Tender on it or I would and I Might have to look into Sta Bil...Never thought of that for the gas tank...But I was planning on keeping mine with a Full tank of gas instead of Almost empty.

first winter here too..... but i'm too lazy to do any maintenance.

but i'll most likely be taking it for random spins once in a while, cause its always worth it despite the cold

Im gonna do my oil change for the winter this week and then put her away to the weather breaks. For those who are gonna take it out for a quick spin. Remember that cold tires on a cold road = bad news. Just be careful.

True story, on this past week where it was like 45-50 degrees out a buddy of mine pulled out of his driveway to goto work and the bike basically slide out from under him not even a mile from his house.

Mine's already in pieces getting ready for part 2 of its make over. Time to pull out the polaris predator

yeah i ride most of the year. bad idea to store it with a empty tank, better to have a full tank. also people dont use fuel treatment right most of the time. put it in the tank then drive around for afew miles so it gets into the entire fuel system not just the gas in the tank. my bike though gets battery tender and covered during the winter.
