PLX A/F Wide Band... hmm

Well b4 i actually put the wide band a/f gauge into pillar i tested it to see if it worked, it does... well i hooked it up(i have a digital controller too) well i hooked it up to the igntion, grounded it... all gauges work but a/f... we took it out tested it again, it does not light up... did it fry??

sounds like somethings not right obviously. I would recheck all the wiring.

Well when i run the power just to that gauge it dont even work anymore, sounds like it fried or something...

What is the source of your power, and did you accidentily pop a fuse.

I was using the 12v ignition wire going to my headunit... and headunit still works so i doubt its a fuse :-/

Did you fuse the power for the wideband?? If not something "could" of shorted.

well technically i never actually started car, wide band never was hooked completely up i was just seeing if power to a/f gauge was still working and it wasnt so i took the gauge apart, smells like something got hot or went... but i dont see any signs of it

yeah im F'd i dont know what to do now... could i just buy a a/f wide band gauge instead of the whole sensor and controller ??

as long as its just the gauge thats fubar'd. PLX does sell the gauges separately.
