Exclamation Looking for brakes and HID

Doing a "mass install" on the car which includes a few things and 2 of which are brakes and an HID kit, everything else is pretty much found.

Car
2004 Mazda MX-5 Mazdaspeed
Sport suspension

Brakes
Looking for an agressive street pad, need front and rear pads
Would like to stick with a reputable company here.

HID
Bulb size is 9006, prefer a 5000k temp but will settle for 6000k
Not too particular on brands here but I can a chinese kit on eBay for under 75 shipped and im willing to pay a bit more for the name-brand, just not a rediculous ammount.

PM me with what you have available or can order in. Id rather pay a bit more for the good stuff from a local vendor but lets stay reasonable. I will be installing myself so only quotes for parts, not labor.

Thanks in advance guys! The sooner I can get this stuff the better because I am aiming to install in a few weekends.

Well, just to chime in. I bought my HIDs from Krazy House customs, theyve been flawless and i love the color (theyre 6000k) They sell them for....150? Worth it, extremely simple to install.

Also, for pads I personally (as well as others im sure) would recommend Hawk pads, Monroe makes some good Ceramic pads as well.

I bought my HID's from Krazy House also and I like them and have worked great.

I also have Hawk HPS brake pads and I love them. Not to dusty and have lasted me a long time. You could probably get away with the HPS+ pads, but I heard they are slightly more dusty.

Any of the vendors should be able to provide you with a nice set of pads that will fit your application. Think about changing the brake fluid while your doing the pads also.

I'm trying to stay with name-brand for the HIDs, if its going to be a chinese kit I can get it for 1/2 of that price on eBay. Name-brand I mean Bosch, Philips, McColouch, MTEC (real), etc. I may settle for a cheaper kit though because I have to drop a bit of coin for the other parts and I would like to keep my spending at a minimum for now but FM has a sale going on that I want to take advantage of.

If you settel on getting the cheaper set, how long do you think it will last because you didn't feel like paying for a good set. When I got mine, I paid $180 for them, and havnen't had any major issues with mine.

the problem with name brand HID kits, is youre going to pay at least around 4-600 for them. They arent cheap, that's why i settled for the Krazy House HID's.

either EBC yellowstuff or hawk hps pads. I'll probably go with the EBC whenever I change mine

there's a member on here with a newer civic selling 9006 kit, 6000k i believe. HID kits aren't like a few years back where its hush hush tech, most kits now-a-days are made equally good.
