I may be picking up a 89 240sx trunk style and i'm just trying to gather a little info before I jump on it. Anybody know of any good forums?

Zilvia.net if you are willing to search through past topics.

Most people here are gonna tell you otherwise, but I learned a lot from there.

I always have a thread or two bookmarked from there just to read thru the info and learn more.

Cool, thanks guys. Hopefully I can get this car. Its a Maroon 89 5sp, 240k on body and 66k on motor with receipts. Its by far one of the cleanest 240's i've seen in the area. No rust.

+1 on that also.

Just if you do sign up for zilvia. Make sure you search very throughly first before you post, cause they will internet murder you if you don't! The biggest mistake you could ask is about rim or tire sizes on there. Checkout a post by SilviaS13girl.

If you sign up checkout this Thread alot of info in it.

zilvia is for people who listen to creed and keep a weekly supply of ky for those late nights e-flaming.

here are my personal favorites.

www.240sx.com
www.importfanatix.com "small tight friendly community" they consist of 240 owners some that have moved to other models. next to no flamers at all.

^^ at least now on zilvia they don't have rep any more they got ride of that and now have sort of an itrader rep. Also now they have visitor messages just like here. So they can still tell you your car sucks cause the wheels don't sit flush and you don't have 4 degrees of camber with a exhaust that protrudes 8inches out pass the bumper and then goes up up away and into the sky!
(seems like the biggest thing with those guys now is buddy club spec II exhaust)
