JM Fabrications Open House! Sept. 14th

The date has been set! JM Fabrications is proud to show off our new shop and location by having an open house open to the public so that anyone can stop by to say hi, meet the staff, and see our facility where we work our fabrication magic every day. How, when, where, and why you say? Here are the details:

Date: Sunday, September 14th
Time: 11am - 5pm
Location: Our new shop!
1571 Gehman Road
Harleysville, PA 19438

Our new shop is a million times easier to get to and find than our old location. In this picture below, you can see that we're only 3 turns off of the Lansdale, PA turnpike exit:

Know how to get to our old shop, but not the new one? In the meantime, you can use maps.google to find the best route to us so that you don't go too far out of the way, but here's a basic map of how we're only a few turns away from the old place:

Pull into either of the first two driveways on the left once you turn onto Gehman Rd. (really lowered cars are suggested to use the first of the two) and then turn right and follow the parking lot as far right and rear as it'll take you. Make sure to come to the "front" side of our building to park and not the loading dock side, unless parking spaces run out of course.

At the current moment, we have a few of our friends/businesses that we have asked to come out as well to set up some type of display and representation for themselves. These right now include:

CBRD Speed Factory
JnZ Finishing
GV Autosport
Blouch Turbo
R/T Tuning

We plan to have food and drinks supplied throughout the day for when hunger calls, so make sure you stop in early before it's all gone. There should be a few other activities that we're still working out the details for (possible raffles, maybe a moon bounce for the big kids inside us, etc. ;) ) but in either case there should definitely be JMF garb available for purchase (with an updated logo too I hear--"ooooooooooh"), and we also are having a special open-house-day-sale! Anything purchased in full the day of the open house will receive a 10% discount on the price of the part(s)! **

So make sure you save this date, and let us share with you what you've helped us become.

** Small Print Stuff: Please keep in mind though that we may not have all of the parts you purchase currently built and our build day time frame found on our site will then come into play. Shipping is also excluded from the 10% discount if you aren't able to pick up the part once it's completed and need it delivered to your home. Some display items may be available to be bought and take home at the end of the day if the buyer is around at the time of the open house closing AND was the first to buy that exact part. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have that aren't answered in regards to the sale and I will update the terms here with that answer.

Sounds good, i'm looking forward to checking out the new shop. From the pics i already saw it looks like it has a lot of potential. Did the move go smoothly?

The move went pretty quick but as for setting things up the right way and the way we wanted, that took some time. We still have a few loose ends now but everything will be exactly how we want it by the time the open house comes around.

I'll stop on by. Can we still put my Spyder in the middle of the shop with spotlights on it. Maybe a small pedestal built under it?

One of those mini Craftsman floor jacks should suffice and work as a pedestal for that little guy, right?

Ya know now that you're all finished with the move and sitting around not doing anything bored all day... you should fab up a sick 2JZ-GTE intake manifold... and hell an exhaust manifold too if you like.

This sounds good! Would it be cool if I drop off a cast iron manifold to be modified for an external waste gate and a turbo to have the internal gate welded shut? I emailed Jim months ago about this, but my procrastination has still left me without the parts I need to drop everything off to you guys!

If I can do that, it would be great! Plus it will give me a chance to see some of your other work.

Cool! You don't happen to have pictures would you? I will be needing some intercooler pipes welded eventually and the local shops that have been suggested to me seem to do some sloppy work.

Let JM do it, JMF quality is best! There will be plenty of cars at the open house that you can look at including my own.
