These were all edited. And were all shot in full manual, I didn't just point and click (hell using the 20mm lens I don't even have the benefit of a light meter)

I did not shoot in raw for one reason, the camera did not come with software so I don't have anything on my computer compatible with NEF files

i do but photoshop (at least photoshop 7 at least) does not support *.NEF files. Trying to see if my friend has Nikon Capture 4 to import pics.

This was my first night with the camera, I took like 130 shots just trying to get a hang of everything. Then I loaded them and saw where pics were off and what settings worked and what didn't work so yeah they arent perfect.

You can download adobes DNG converter. And that will convert the NEF files to a DNG, which you should be able to use in photoshop or light room.

The pictures are ok... kind of boring to me.

i think it's odd that you have a different post about what is needed to have "complete gear"... but you hardly even know how to use any of it? The exposure seems off on almost all of the pictures, focus is off on a bunch as well, White balance is not consistent.

and...Unless you are friends with god everyone shoots under constantly changing light...

i do know how to use it, I am just used to shooting 35mm and the D70 is completely new to me.

And when I mean constantly changing light, talk about freak weather half sunny half apocalypse bull **** while the sun was setting.

I didn't have the cars set up to get interesting pictures, i was just walking around a parking lot filled with cars

I thought posting this in the photography forum would produce more helpful constructive criticism that would help me learn this camera faster rather than "this sucks, this sucks, and this sucks" with no actual helpful advice for me.

Please do not treat me as if I have no photography knowledge just because I haven't learned my camera by the first night I had it out. My co-worker used to shoot professionally and he just made the jump to digital (D80) and he isn't even getting satisfactory pictures.

My advice... don't worry about having gear, just take photos. get the gear when you run into a situation that can't be solved without using the proper tool.

White Balance - use the proper white balance setting, once you learn more, use custom white balance.
Focus/Exposure - Your exposures seem too long for hand held but too short for proper exposure of the subject. Some of your shots are blurry. Get a tripod, raise your ISO, or change you F stop to compensate
Composition - This is probably one of the most important things in art, let alone photography. Always think about composition. 5 and 6 are ok... but the rest don't do too much for the viewer.
Post Processing - use it to fix your mistakes when taking the photos. Bump the exposure up on the dark ones, adjust the color temp on the blue or yellow ones. There needs to be pure white in some of those, and there isn't pure white in any?
A quick edit...

I took some of the yellow out, gave the sky back some color and depth, then tried to brighten it up a bit.

I never once said any of them suck. You kind of set the tone though with the name of this post? Don't be upset that people are following that.
