Disabled Girl Starved to Death

I think this is so sad

Heard it on the news last night and then saw it in the paper this morning.

What the hell is the matter with people? Working in this field, it makes me even more frustrated

Thats awful. But as far as the social workers go, I don't understand why they even get into the field. They obviously don't care about children. Its sickening.

^^^ because unfortunately it's an easy field for pieces of shyt to BS their way into. a good amount of social workers don't care about what their doing, they just want it on their background. That's why a lot of scumbags get social worker or city jobs.

As the parent of a disabled child, i'm especially digusted at this. I've been through struggles too, at an even younger age than this scumbag woman, and in my eyes,my son is one of the coolest people alive. Yea it's hard, but it makes me that much more appreciative.

i agree this woman should be starved the same way! GRRR i hate people.

Liz, what do you do?

very cool, kudos to you and your momma. My son has been involved in state-aided programs since age 2, and without them I'd be lost. It's nice to see that some people are truly passionate about what they. Without these people I'd probably have gone off the deep end years ago. Incredible people to say the least.

But back to this bitch in the story.....glue snausages all over her and put her in a cage with 3 rabid pitbulls....and sell tix..lol

All 3 of my brothers have learning disabilities and I've always had a soft spot for the disabled. I love being able to give back. I'm currently raising my 3rd Autism support dog and raised Guide Dogs in the past.

yea my son has autism/PDD. He's come a very LONG way since age 2 when he was diagnosed. He'll be 7 in october and even attends a regular public school now with the help of his 2 TSS's. SPIN (Special People In the Northest) and PA Mentor/Childlinks programs have both helped TREMENDOUSLY.

Thats so good that he can go to a public school, if even assisted. There needs to be so much more research done on developmental disorders-why they occur and whats the best way to reach the kids, and teach them.

Drake, the current dog I am raising, is being placed with a 7yo boy who is on the autism spectrum. I can already see a difference in him when Drake is around and how he talks to people more.

I second this. I wish more people would stand up, and do something good for those around them.

And as for the woman who gave birth to a disabled child, and let her die (i REFUSE to call her a mother, mom, or really, any other positive word). She can rot in the deepest pits of hell.
