Picked it up at Target today. Definately a TON better than COD3, which sucked. Reminds me a little of SOCOM on the PS2, which I played the hell out of. Through the first 2 missions I am pleasantly surprised.

I still have to see how the multiplayer is before I am fully satisfied with the game though.

The multiplayer is amazing.. I'm down for a TST private match.. 18 players!!!

It's not everyone driving around in tanks running everyone over and firing the big ass turret is it? That's why I traded COD3 in for Halo 3.

No, not at all. It's on the same engine as Call of Duty 2, so it plays like that.. much more fun.

Unsure yet.. I'd say I'm 75% through the single player.. I've done a SWEET AC-130 mission, and a really sick stealth sniper mission.. it is really put together well.

doug you were right, the AC-130 mission was tight. I've been playing multiplayer for about an hour now and it's really badass. It's nothing like COD3 at all.

WOW!!!

let me start off by saying that i'm not too big on gaming at all, but holy hell.. after playing that game for hours tonight (i know i know no life, right? lol it's tuesday anyway), it is the best FPS i have ever played. nothing else even comes close. graphics (XBOX 360 w/50" LCD) are out of this world.. the lighting is the best part. cast shadows, reflection maps, bending of light rays when looking at muzzle flash (or anything else hot for that matter), etc like i have never seen before. the story line is great too, it's like watching a movie.

i played the AC-130 mission a few times because it was that fun!! everyone kept taking turns blowing s*** up and strafing people! haha.

i know you guys here are probably all much more skilled at gaming and all, and most of you could probably appreciate the online aspects better than i could, but for me the single player and even multi-player are unbeatable!

A++++++ from me!
