That is way to expensive for that ski. Maybe if the ski was in perfect shape and needed nothing he could get that much. Plus kaw are junk. If you are going to get a ski that old get either a yamaha or a sea-doo. Yamaha's are going to be more reliable but sea-doo are faster. Try to find an older seadoo xp 94 or newer. Stay away from the 97's.

sea doos are honestly junk and always will be, yamahas, kawasaki, and polaris make great skis, i was around/working on all kinds for about 3-4 years. sea doos will nickle and dime you to death. but that is too much for that ski, tell him you'll give him $100 take it or leave it

I have been riding for over 16 years never had a single issue with my seadoo's. If you take care of them properly you will not have an issue with a seadoo. I use to run the jetski rental down in sea isle and then in OC. When I first started working there we rented seadoos and they would last about half a season before the motors would start going. We switched over to yamahas and they lasted almost the entire season before the motors would go. The older kaw and polaris were junk.

Oh i know. We can take it to my uncles house who has an in ground pool and ride it in that all naked and stuff.
