Wait you're leaving the carb? Keep the carb clean and run fuel system cleaner every month and you won't have any problems.

The car was running and all together... I was the one who took it apart. It only has rust about two inches long and the car has only 128,000 miles... Paint is still in good condition just really dirty. I started to buff it out and it accually looks better then any other i have seen that have not been re painted... CIVIC + DD = FUN/CHEAP...

Looks like a carb. Heh, guess its the weird designs Honda makes, just like the completely reversed fuel injection system for carb's.

DPFI, not a carb, not even close.

Do you normally remove the rad support to work on cars?! Lol.

I'd say it looks like a fun project, but it won't be because it's an EF.

lol at advice from someone who admits knowing nothing.
anyways, that appears to be a decent car, although it looks like you jumped into the project head first with no organization.

damn man. Take it one step at a time. You pulled the motor apart the front end the headers intake and interior in one shot? What if something goes wrong after you get it back together? Your gonna be in a pickle bro. Good luck though of course

WOW.... Everyone is confused here so maybe i will clearify. I bought the car just to beat on the car till it died. The car was in decent shape no major things wrong with it. I started out by just taking off the head to change all the gaskets and having the head cleaned. With just about most of engine out i figured i would just take out everything that was dirty and clean it. First thing i noticed was that the rad support and t bar paint was comming off so i removed it and any thing else that was ****y looking. I repainted these parts now i am just waiting on the head and i will continue reassembly... This is not a go fast car or anything special... ALso i knew what i was getting into when i bought the car...
