Insane Go-Kart

So Sled an myself went to hang over a friends house today, an this is what there playing with. It was just nuts to see this in person i'm still going WOW wtf were these 2 thinking. This is my friend Frank driving an the guy who build my drag car's motor aka Sponsored1. O yeah this is a 500CC Street bike motor built onto a go-kart frame. It did a wheelie in 2nd gear an came down bending the front wheels, just nuts to see in person.

When I read Goat art, I was expecting a go kart with a GTO engine!

For everyone that is going to formula d tomorrow, this was SUPPOSED to be at the drift alliance booth, however they told me i couldnt bring it anywhere near the track because they were sure some drunk asshole would rip it around. They were right, of course. But it will be at the next clubloose event. If you seem cool i might even let you take it out for a spin

Looks like fun. I always wanted to build a go kart. Then I got my license and a car was more practical.

We built a go kart with a 350cc motor when I was about 12. It was just to dangerours to drive. We also didn't have a muffler for it so you had to wear ear plugs under a helmet to drive it. Driving beyond 2nd gear was honestly risking your life. I would imagine it was hitting 80mph and really unstable.

Went back and built another kart with a 10 hp lawnmower engine and drove that around alot more. Fun without the constant fear of death.

Reminds me of the Snapper (Forest Gump) mower me and freinds built when we were 16. It had a 250cc 2 stroke dirtbike engine in the rear with a ripper shifter and it did wheelies all the way to 6th. It was only cool in a straight line though and it didn't have any brakes.
