Poll.... Aftermarket support

I was talking to cleanneon today and came across the topic of a nissian 240's. He was looking at one and he made a comment on how much better miatas are then 240 in certain aspects. One of them being aftermarket support. That i just can't see. There has got to be more nissan 240 drivers that mod their cars then a damn miata!!!. Discuss

240's have sooo much more support than miatas. They are also much better and much less girly. Case closed.

Id still take a miata>240

less common, convertible, more of an icon among sports cars, has a great aftermarket, stock engine loves boost, its very very reliable, perfect weight distribution, and not every owner is in their teens.

I would definetly rock a slammed Miata, but the aftermarket support is better for the 240 I would think. I don't have any personal experience with either though.

Have you ever seen the backseat of a 240? I think the miata wins out on that one because you can put the top down. I guess having the top down would be as good as banging on the hood though so they both fail.

Take out the back bench and the front seats recline almost completely flat. There's enough room in the passanger seat. Or... just do it on the hood =P

^I know I'm gonna get some leghumpers for that.^

Damn i hit the wrong one too haha. They both have good aftermarket support and they are both good platforms.

I think 240s have more support but that does NOT mean that i would pick one over a miata by any means. If i came across a cheap miata i would be very tempted to pick it up.

Good point. I want to ditch my back seats anyway so all I need are s14 seats and some window tint.
