saw it as i was pulling into the parkinglot about 9PM tonight. wasnt in my car though. stock rims, looked stock.

theres a kid that goes to montco with a black 02-03....debaged and exhaust that i can tell....could be him, tried throwin him the universal "whats up fellow spec owner" sign at school but he didnt acknowledge me.

yeah thats the car...i forgot about the exhaust. he was packed to the hilt in the thing with his friends
the only black 02-03 ive seen in the area

lol not really, but ya know if your lookin at me and im lookin at you ill be the first to give the wave, usually the other specs i see either arent looking at all, or dont throw the love back

i see jeeps all the time and i know they got the wave....i never see specs so i would like to wave when i see one haha.

i usally flash the headlights or something...since they blind everyone lol

Gotcha. Actually I see quite a few on the road, although most of the time they are bone stock and you can see the owners aren't interested in spotting other owners. The few modded Spec's I do see probably don't see me, as I blend in with that group.

yeah my car sticks out like a sore thumb... i dont see many modded specs actually...id say one out of every ten i see are modded.....

and the only 07 ive seen was a old lady drivin it....i was like wtf....

the black wheels give you away, while my paint gives me away. still have yet to see an 07 spec on the road yet...

i can't even flash my highbeams cause i got HID's and they will blow like that, i cant drop it into nuetral and rev until i get my stromung in, so i can only beep lol, i've seen a black spec but it was 04+ near limekiln pike and sasquahana, a white se-r or specv can't tell with a loud exhaust constantly near the turnpike in hatboro on easton

ive got HIDS to but im using bi-xenons. so i can flash them lol i didnt want anything cuz in pa u need high beams to pass inspection...cant rev? stock exhaust?

stock exhaust with XS header=death sound
But i have bi-xenons i jsut meant that i dindt' wanna flash them like that cause it'll casue them to burn out quicker.... I got HID's in headlights and in fogs and got the fog light mod so my fogs can turn on with out anything on at all except just the car being on

Well, you're not the only one here with a Sunburst 03

I've only seen 1 new Spec. I can see why they aren't common... they just aren't appealing in the looks department. Like the tweaks to the QR25DE, hate the looks. B15's FTW.

how did you do that fog light mod? ive been thinkin about doing it.

the fog light mod is so easy, u clip the wire beneith and just run a wire across, its on the forums, by far the easiest one i've done, literally took me 5 min
soon as i'm done this stupid paper i can find it

Cliff notes: reroutes fog lamp relay supply to the AC compressor relay supply so that you can turn on fogs anytime the key is in "run."

It is nearly stock, since this is my daily (I tend to break things on cars that I toy with and/or race.)
-Dehamburger'd
-Vinyl wheel spoke inlays (GrafxWerks.com) in yellow
-Fog light mod
-AC on defrost disable
-Aftermarket headunit (had to make harness/interface to stock "RF" amp, and I still want to tear it out when I have time) and Sirius Starmate 3 dock hardwired
-the butterfly loctite mod
-removed intake resonators/silencers
-V1 hardwired

Not much on the list. Eventually I'll throw on I/E/H and call it a day... but I have a growing pile of parts (SC pullies, MSD box, sway bar, etc) to install on my project car (the Grand Am) so it isn't a priority.

I did run it at Atco once... squeaked out a 15.3 @ 90 on the near-bald stock Conti's it came with when I got it used in 2005...

Yea, the hardest part is getting the underneath the damn relays in that box.
