Going back to stock...

So coming down city line on Wednesday night my clutch said byebye. I don't know what happened. It wasn't slipping or anything, then all the sudden no worky. The car has ~5k miles on it, and no I don't drive like an idiot. Left it in TGI Friday's parking lot, and the next day had it towed to Jeff D'ambrosio Dodge in downingtown. Manager said he was very mad about my mods and the only way he would cover it under warranty is if I let them put the car back to stock. I'm kind of relieved because I didn't think a clutch would be covered at all since some dealers will consider it a wear item like break pads and light bulbs. Oh well, Look for my classifieds for an AGP Wastegate, Side exit exhaust, Greddy type S, and a CCA Large FMIC. I have about 31k miles to go before I go all out with this car, but for now I'll just keep it nice and if I do anything it will be some nice tints and appearance mods.

Can't afford it right now. Plus I told my parents I'd leave the car stock when I bought it. They were pretty tight when I told them my warranty almost got voided. Even though it's my car, parents are parents when your 19.

Im guessing its under their name (insurance and title) in order to get a loan and affordable insurance. If you can't afford to buy a new clutch, you shouldn't mod your car. That might sound mean but I see people spend thousands on their car and then when something breaks, they cant afford to repair it.

I agree that I shouldn't mod because I DEFINITELY can't afford fixing this car frequently. That's why I bought it in the first place, to replace my aging DSM. The car and insurance are both in my name.

Modding is addicting though. Eh, What ya gonna do :/
