finally took apart my GFs talon *25 pics*
here are some pics from today, went from a complete talon nothing apart to engine out in a little less than 3 hours. which is pretty quick, got hung up on 2 things that took a little longer than expected, i think i coulda had it out in about 2 and a half hours maybe even less.im the guy with the beard and the other dude in the extremepsi t shirt is my bro. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

na engines locked up, im putting money on oil pump. cause i dont think its any way timing related. i haven't cracked the motor open yet. maybe this week not sure yet.

Why pull the motor out before diagnosing the problem? Could have been a seized cam, or jumped timing and banged the head up a bit....

its soo easy to pull the motor in this thing man (3hours is a joke), id rather take it all apart without being cramped under the car and ****, plus i want to change the clutch so its just gonna be way easier to do it with motor out. i also wanted to delete and clean the engine bay for awhile now just never had a good enuff reason. i think it might be worse than a siezed cam or jumped timing. unless its somehow the oil pump which isnt really a big deal. unless the bearings starved
