they suck. I go to a small local place. I have never been there for tires for more than 20 minutes. I will never buy tires at pepboys again. LOL

little trick i learned. pepboys are very loose on the checking of tire stock. find a shady pepboys. i paid $100 for 4 tires on my corolla a couple years ago. mounted and balanced and installed. of course, this was when i was still in high school. now the only three people allowed to touch anything under my hood are me, ray, and my boy at dodge who looks the other way when it comes to my mods and my warranty.

I worked at the one in ****** a couple years ago.

They weren't that bad. **** got backed up, and when a guy is working on a car he's usually not stopping to do some tire work... which is stupid because it takes 20 minutes.

Our service manager was a douche though He always put on his stern face around me when he was talking to the female service reps. And banging some chick and giving her free service lol...

I've got a similar horror story from that store as well. I was in dire need of an alignment and swung into there because they said they weren't busy. Also decided to get my dedicated winter tire setup swapped onto the car because it was cold and I was feeling lazy. 6 hrs later I finally get back to the store and my car hadn't moved, they said their alignment machine was broken (but didn't call me), tires weren't swapped, and they tried to charge me for mounting and balancing my winter tires. wtf.

Anyone know any reliable general mechanics in the area spanning Warminster to Willow Grove? It's experiences like those that make me hesistant to take the car anywhere. Thanks for letting me hijack this thread.
