I walked out to my car after work and saw this giant rock laying next to my car. It wasn't there when I parked.

This thing was so heavy that I couldn't roll it over to the curb, so I can only imagine what it would have done to my car if it hit it.

I have no idea where it came from.

Are those scrapes on the street next to the rock, that the rock possibly caused?

Yeah, and right outside the picture is an ramped traffic island, without sharp curbs. I think some kind of truck hit the ramped island and the rock got knocked out of the back, because it looks like the rock hit the ground and rolled a couple feet before stopping.

The rock was gone this morning, i guess the landlord had it removed.
