Cool, congrats on the new gear. What did you end up getting?

I think the first is the strongest with the most interesting sky and red gel. Looks like you had fun.

I got the gadget infinity trigger set and ran it with my sb-600. The gel was actually a deodorant cap (only thing we could find in the car). Im going to find a place that carries gels today and hopefully get some other colors and shoot the cabin again tonight.

i have that set too but mine likes to misfire almost like a strobe light while its on. did urs do that at all?

not really. the only problem I have had is that if you aren't in super close proximity, you have to click the transmitter a few times to get a fire. What setup are you using them with?

i have a canon 30d with a 430EX speedlite and those cactus v2 transmitter/receiver thing. occassionally itll work fine and fire fine but then most of the time it goes crazy. did it on my canon 20d too

thats weird. I know that theres an antenna mod which i plan on doing that can be done to them to help with the consistency and range. Did you try the different frequencies? Maybe something was messing with the signals?

yea i tried the frequencies but then just gave up and thats when i made that extension to my hot shoe cord. maybe ill play around with them again sometime with diff frequencies or do that antenna mod cuz ive seen that too and give them another shot sometime
