Well, my wife is. :p

We got my wife a new car Saturday night, trading in her 2002 Mazda Protege. We've been looking at the TSX, Jetta, Mini, and a few other cars. But we recently found out that the new Civic can now be had with leather and heated seats. Most importantly the heated seats. And she really likes the coupe, along with getting close to 40mpg on 87 octane, as opposed to less with all the other cars we've looked at. Not to mention a MUCH lower price. Now there's more money for my next car...S2000 anyone? Saw a few at the Honda dealerships we went to yesterday...I think I'm hooked, especially after seeing the black CR at the dealership we bought from.

Kind of funny, but she wants the windows tinted as well as tinting the tail lights a little bit. Then she said I could paint the wheels gunmetal with a license plate that says "GRRRRR".

Anyways, on to the pics. 2008 Honda Civic EX-L Coupe in Nighthawk Black Pearl with gray leather. :D

Thanks guys. It really is a very nice commuter car. Thankfully my wife doesn't have the same vehicular needs as myself...leaves more money for my toys.

I'm trying to talk the wife into trading one of our honda fits in for a 08 tl type s. Its not going over well...haha

VERY minimal items will done. Window tint and some lightly applied tail light tint. Perhaps paint the wheels, but we'll see. Other than that, it's staying all stock.

The Audi A3 is "our" car, but it's pretty much my daily driver. The Civic is "ours" as well, but she will be doing the majority of driving in it as it's an automatic and the Audi is stick. The Spec V is my autocross slut that gets driven a couple of times a week to keep miles off the Audi.

Jay, the Spec is doing well. Getting ready for a wheel/tire/suspension overhaul next weekend. I've got 245/40/17 RE-01R's and 17x8 Motegi LC5's sitting at the house waiting to be installed, along with some Koni Yellows and Ground Control coils with 500lbs springs for the front and 550lbs for the rear. Should be a very good/fun autocross season soon.

I have driven the Civic a few times, and it really is a nice car. Comfortable, enough power for daily driving, etc. I would gladly take one as my daily driver, although as we all know it's not the greatest performance car. But it's great for her and what she wants/needs and leaves me more money for my next project.

hahaha nice! i was thinking about getting a new civic for a daily driver whats the mpg like on it so far? i get 31 out of my civic i know i am being greedy but i want more :D

Nice purchase Josh! A civic EX with black leather would be a nice daily! Most of the EX's I saw when I started looking at other cars had a sticker of $18-20K on the dealers lot! Yikes (for a civic)!
